Own Products: MCS160
The MCS160 is a no frills unit that simply provides good quality multichannel 24-bit conversion in a physical density and at a price that is hard to match. The unit is built up of modular euro-format cards. The three card types contain respectively 8 A/D, D/A or SR converters. Each unit can house one or two cards, given 8 or 16 channels.
All audio connections are terminated on 25-pin D-sub connectors. An AES/EBU sync input and two sync outputs allows multiple units to be daisy-chained. Word clock sync. is available as an option.
The A/D and SRC cards can be synchronised to any frequency between 27kHz and 54kHz. The eight converters on each card operate independently which allows asynchronous signals to be handled simultaneously. For full details and specifications, download the product brochure here:
